Pilot Project to Establish Interoperability Standards Between E-filing Vendors

EUGENE, OREGON - August 19, 2000 - counterclaim announced today that the Georgia Courts Automation Commission (GCAC) has selected them to be one of the five electronic filing vendors to participate in the Court Filing Interoperability Pilot Project. The GCAC also wishes to implement the LegalXML standard to test its usability and as proof-of-concept of interoperability among courts and vendors. The four other vendors are @court, e-filing.com, JusticeLink, and Verilaw. More information on the pilot project can be found at www.legalxml.org/Georgia/.
