About counterclaim
All information collected
as a result of your acccout with counterclaim will be controlled by counterclaim.com,
Inc., an Oregon corporation. We do not give, sell, rent, share, or trade any
identifiable personal information regarding our members to any third party,
with the exception of third parties who are authorized by you to provide Web
site viewing and other services, and who are strictly prohibited from later
use of the information that they may have access to. We will also disclose
personal information to local, state, or federal law enforcement officials
when we believe in good faith that the law requires it.

On Our Online Registration Form
We require you to provide
us with your full name, social security number, bar number, birthdate, full
street address, email address and a password. We will process this information
so that we may identify you if you ever lose your password, administer your
membership, communicate news & information, provide services to you and enable
you to take advantage of other member benefits. While you are within counterclaim's
service, we automatically track certain information about your behavior. This
information includes the URL of the page you are visiting, what browser you
are using, and your IP address. We do this in order to preserve the security
of the counterclaim system. YOU CAN LOG OUT OF counterclaim AT ANY
TIME TO STOP THIS TYPE OF INFORMATION GATHERING.

to help diagnose problems with our server, to administer our Web site and
to provide a more secure service. counterclaim will protect your information
